Onboarding Steps/Overview

  1. Mailer lite sent to interested people. This email includes RSVP form for Potluck Social/Onboarding.
  2. Form responses are populated in a table in Mailer Lite. Responses need to be checked periodically as there is no notification sent when responses are received. 
  3. Day of reminder sent to interested people for onboarding/social. 
  4. Check number of attendees for onboarding (check on the day of the event at a minimum). Collect emails/names for expected participants. Information can be found from export of Mailer Lite table. 
  5. Onboarding meeting
  • Check needed materials: QR code sheet for membership/dues, list of tasks & roles, list of products, sign in sheet, and zine if available. 
  • Manage door/phone number for arrivals. 
  • Give presentation for onboarding and hold Q/A. 
  • Show shop to participants.
  • Verify interested people, give QR code sheet or note on sign up sheet. 

6. Check for dues payments and membership agreements daily for a week after onboarding meeting. 

7. For people who have paid dues and signed membership agreement, add them to: What's App General chat, Airtable, Google Group, and instruct on how to sign up for wiki and Meso app.
